Hello, Bulldogs & Families!Â
Lots to celebrate at SpMS this week! Spangdahlem MS has earned the designation of an AVID Schoolwide Site of Distinction!!! This distinctive honor is awarded to only 6% of secondary schools in the AVID system. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is implemented in approximately 8,000 K-12 schools across 47 states and DoDEA, impacting 2.5 million+ students annually. This distinction underscores DoDEA's and SpMS staff’s dedication to expanding AVID beyond the AVID Elective classroom, promoting instructional strategies that benefit all students.Â
Reminder: As we transition to our new library system, MackinVision, the last day for checkout in the library will be Thursday, December 12th, 2024. All eBooks and audiobooks will continue to be available. Students can check out extra physical books for the winter break.
