Next week is the last week of Q1! You did it!!

We are so super proud of our 8th graders for working so hard on their PSAT on Thursday!! You will never regret setting your future-self up for success! 

Parent Teacher Conferences are up next: Friday, Nov 1st (no school this day). Appointments can be made with teachers for the morning session by emailing teachers now or receiving an invitation from your student’s teacher(s); walk-ins are available in the afternoon. See page 3 for instructions. 

This coming week we have... 

• PTSA Meeting at 1530 on Monday (21st) 
• 8th grade PSAT makeups on Tuesday (22nd) 
• Non-Student Day on Friday (25th) for Teacher Work Day

LightSpeed Browser Filter: Starting on 10 October, an updated internet filter initiated. This filter will help students use their school-issued Chromebooks in a safer, student-friendly manner by filtering-out access to non-academic websites and to YouTube videos that are not marked as ‘educational’. If a student has difficulties accessing a needed academic site, they can complete THIS FORM to request that the site be considered for approved access. 

Resiliency Night: We are looking at 20 Nov to host a Spangdahlem Complex-wide family event for student and family resiliency during times of deployment and challenges. This evening will have base programs and school resources available for students of all ages and their families. More info to come soon! 

Red Ribbon Week: RRW is a national week of recognition for awareness and committing to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. We will recognize RRW from 28 Oct - 01 Nov with dress-up days and activities. The theme for Red Ribbon Week 2024 is “Life Is A Movie, Film Drug Free”.
